Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake

Last night I went to see Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake, and was blown away. It was absolutely, just amazing. Totally exceeding my expectations, which should have been hard to do since I had already assumed it would be fantastic. Richard Windsor was an excellent Swan/Stranger, with his luminescent pale skin, long sinewy body and huge arm span. I almost died when he and Simon Williams performed a pas de deux. Guh, Sweat was slipping down his back, his chest was heaving after every leap and turn, yet he still maintained absolute control over his body, I got chills every time he did that neck roll. He played the swan so, so well, epitomizing raw strength and sensuality (found these shots on the web)
